{"id":24,"date":"2017-12-05T09:18:59","date_gmt":"2017-12-05T09:18:59","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/perf.unime.it\/magnet\/?page_id=24"},"modified":"2022-04-06T15:34:24","modified_gmt":"2022-04-06T14:34:24","slug":"docs","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"http:\/\/perf.unime.it\/magnet\/?page_id=24","title":{"rendered":"Getting Started"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Download the tarball file from the <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/perf.unime.it\/magnet\/?page_id=82\" target=\"_blank\">download page<\/a> and extract it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Inside the extracted folder, you&#8217;ll find the binary version of the library (libMAGNET.a), the license and copyright files, a folder containing the header files required to correctly build the models and a bash script to easily compile the models by using the library. No installation is required.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Building a Model<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Current version of the bash script is designed assuming the header file is stored in the <code>include\/<\/code> directory located in the same directory with it and the <code>libMAGNET.a<\/code> file. Put the <code>libMAGNET.a<\/code> library fle, the <code>include\/<\/code> directory and the <code>build_model.sh<\/code> script in the same directory of the C file with the model you want to build. Just execute the script passing as argument the name of the model source file; it will generate a binary file named <code>model<\/code>; this latter is the executable file to lunch for analyzing the Markovian agent model.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Model Execution and Results<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Execute the aforementioned  <code>model<\/code> binary file and wait for the results. At the end of the computation, you will find some <code>.csv<\/code> files (one per agent) and a <code>.log<\/code> file, named as the name of the model chosen during the model description.
